AE 426 - Introduction to Aircraft Flight Mechanics

Undergraduate course, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Aerospace Department, 2023

An introductory course for Aircraft Flight Mechanics. The course provide theoritical based knowledge in the field of flight mechanics starting from the static and dynamic aircraft stability analysis, deriving the equations of motion, dynamics linearization, and finally, classical and modern control theory applied to flight mechanics. Students get exposed to various simualtions analysis using MATLAB.

AE 315 - Systems and Control

Undegraduate Lab, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Aerospace Department, 2023

An introductory lab for systems and control theory. The course provide hands-on experience on multiple software and hardware tools used in control. The main programming language used in the course is MATLAB. Students would use MATLAB for simulations, modeling, and control algorithms developed in the tutorials and assignments. Also, we helped students to conduct physical experiments on devices like quadrotors, flexible beams, and 2 degree-of-freedom quadrotor.

AE 540 - Flight Dynamics and Control I

A course to review the equation of motion, static and dynamics stability, response to control or inputs. Classical approach for automatic control theory. Modern control theory and application to autopilot design. Numerical solutions in flight dynamics and control.
